As the Global Creative Chairmen of Grey, Per Pedersen sets the creative ambition for the network. Per has worked a lifetime at Grey. Under Per’s leadership, the Creative Council has become the catalyst of creating a strong creative culture across the entire Grey network. He has also been the driver in the push for breakthrough work and big ideas.


State of the State: Wendy Clark 

Wendy Clark is Chief Executive Officer of DDB North America. Clark joined DDB in January 2016 after working client side at Coca-Cola North America, where she led the Sparkling Category Business Unit as well as the Strategic Marketing organization, including Brand Strategy and Innovation; Media Connections, Investments and Assets; Content and Design.


State of the State: David Droga 

Growing up in an Australian ski resort, David dreamed of touring the world as a ski instructor, but his imagination would take him down a different path. In 2006, dissatisfied with helping other companies flourish, he launched Droga5 in New York City.


State of the State: Karen Blackett

Karen Blackett OBE is a business leader with 25 years of experience in the marketing communications industry. As UK Country Manager for WPP, the global creative transformation company based in 112 countries, she oversees WPP’s second largest market and the 14,000 people working across its operating brands in the UK. She is Chairwoman of WPP’s MediaCom, the largest media agency in the UK with billings over £1.3 billion.


State of the State: Mark D’Arcy

After leading Facebook’s Creative Shop for the past seven years, Mark D’Arcy’s role expanded into the position as the platform’s VP of global business marketing and CCO. D’Arcy joined Facebook in 2011 after a seven-year stint at Time Warner’s global media group as CCO. In 2012, he established the platform’s Creative Council, an agency outreach program designed to bring the agency creative community closer to the brand.
